Grave Goods And Other Pottery, posted on Mon Apr 29 20:01:15 2024

The potter's workshop on Tsort Road has had a change of ownership after Ptep-Ptip-Ptop left town, pursued by a number of hand-ex-maidens with grape peelers. (Fun fact: grape peelers can be used to peel all sorts of things, not just grapes!)

Pthalos, the new owner, is now encouraging all comers to try their hand at pottery - he has provided tools and a range of traditional Djelian designs for you to use.

May your work accompany you or the person of your choice into the afterlife!

Several things were getting confused about their names and plurals. Specifically:

* Fluffy ribbon chokers are now properly jewellery.

* When you have more than one tachibo, they are now two (or more) tachibo, rather than being tachiboes. You can refer to them as tachibo, tachibos, or tachiboes.

* Dead chickens, ducks, and eels can now be properly referred to as "corpses".

In addition, you can now buy newspaper boxes from your spulluf, if you have or can summon a spulluf. If you can't, ignore th...

I have tweaked the website menu to be slightly more usable if you're using a browser on a mobile device to view it.

If you need to navigate to menu item that also has a sub menu, you'll now have to tap on it twice.

The desktop experience should not have changed in any way.

If you experience any issues please let me know with the command:

We've fixed the following bugs in the weapons crafted by Wan Bending Reed:

* They would lose enchantment unexpectedly.

* Their value would sometimes drop unexpectedly.

* The judge command sometimes reported misleading or completely incorrect information.

Note: None of the weapons have had any changes to their utility in combat for customers of Wan Bending Reed.

You will need to su with the weapon in your inventory for the fixes to apply if you're online when this is posted.

The Face of things to come.

The Fools have continued in their obstinate refusal to Face the fact that they are a joke guild.

Brother Emmett has managed to procure some more stock including a circus tent and some new clothes for those who want to take their show on the road.

Brother Boffo, in addition to tidying up the ledgers containing existing faces so that one can find a registered face more easily, has created a set of forms that can be used to guide a new Fool in the art of creating ...

In an unexpected and totally unforeseeable turn of events, the Bes Pelargic wizards guild reports an unfortunate accident with the results of a scientific experiment breaking free.

"I've never seen anything like this! The catastrophe needs to be contained as soon as possible! We need everyone's help!" according to the junior spokesperson to the guild.

Everyone interested in helping out is asked to report to Professor Shrub in the courtyard. He was not open for commentary when our reporters asked...
